The best cuisine at your table

Beltran opens its doors on Monday, April 12, 1954, in Consell de Cent, 101, Barcelona. Tomas Beltran and Ernestina Sabaté lead. What starts as a small trade selling legumes and saltwater fisheries is transforming and growing over time.

The souls of this transformation were Enric Beltran at the counter and Àngels Aguilar in the kitchen, who left the grocery store behind by slowly introducing cooked dishes to the homemade cuisine we now know, always adapting to every moment of the time, and the needs and tastes of our customers.

In the summer of 2011, we transformed our store. We have made it more modern, brighter and with a more current image. There are many changes, such as a new space for wines and cavas, new showcases with more exhibition space, the entire industrial cooling system has been renovated, the shop has been heated, new presentations, new dishes, etc. And many more new details so that our customers continue enjoying our products with the highest quality and comfort.

With these changes, we give way to the third generation with new ideas and new airs, but maintaining the same philosophy and spirit of more than half a century of history of this house.
